What this site collects
This website has no accounts, and its only form is Ask HEMy's “Have Joe follow up”. It doesn't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics tools.
Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to run and protect the site. Nothing else tracks you here. The site doesn't change how it works in response to a browser's “Do Not Track” signal, since there is no tracking to turn off.
Ask HEMy
Ask HEMy's answers are written by an AI assistant. Each question is first screened for an email address, a phone or account number, or a Social Security number; when one is found, the question isn't sent to the AI and goes only to Joe. The screen can miss some, so please leave these details out. Each question that passes the screen is sent to Anthropic, the company whose AI writes the answer, and the question and the answer are emailed to Joe. Under its commercial terms Anthropic doesn't use them to train its AI, and may keep them for a limited time, longer if flagged under its usage policy (see Anthropic's privacy policy). If you ask Joe to follow up, your name, email and phone go only to Joe, never to the AI.
These emails are sent through Google Workspace and stay in the email accounts that send and receive them. This site keeps no other copy. Your details aren't sold, they aren't shared except with Anthropic to answer Ask HEMy questions, and you won't be added to a mailing list. Any later message is Joe replying personally.
Deleting your details
To have your details deleted from those emails, write to info@homeexpress.com. They'll be deleted, except where the law requires a record to be kept.
Searching lessons
The lesson search runs in your browser. Nothing you type into it is sent to us.
Other services we link to
The secure application and client portal, the mobile app, the Home Report and the mortgage calculators are separate services with their own privacy policies, and so are the government agencies' pages Ask HEMy links to. When you use them, their policies apply.
Your loan information
If you apply, Home Express Mortgage's privacy notice for customers explains how your personal and financial information is handled.
