  1. Send it securely

    Your Loan Estimate carries personal and financial details, so it doesn't go by email or through a web form. Documents are uploaded through Joe's secure website. Talk to Joe first, and he'll tell you how to send it securely.

  2. Joe goes through it with you

    Section by section: the loan, the costs, and what each part means.

  3. What to compare

    The rate isn't the whole comparison. Look at origination charges, points and lender credits too. Some sections are services you can shop for, and some are prepaid items, such as taxes and insurance.

  4. It doesn't commit you

    A Loan Estimate doesn't commit you to that lender. Until you say you intend to go ahead, a lender can't charge you any fee except for a credit report.

  5. You decide

    If other options are worth a look, Joe will show you. Either way, you'll understand the one you have.
